Big Five Conferences Football News
Week 6 of the college football season had some big news happenings in the Big Five – ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-12 and SEC.
The Duke Blue Devils played a non-conference game and rolled over Army at West Point. Duke has won three consecutive games since its only loss on September 19 to Northwestern. The UNDER has cashed in all of Duke’s six games as it heads next weekend to Virginia Tech.
Clemson won big over Notre Dame two weekends ago and last weekend ran over Georgia Tech by 19 points. The Tigers covered to end a run of two straight ATS losses.
Iowa moved into the top 25 last week and responded with a 9-point win over Illinois, but the Hawkeyes failed to cover for the second time in six games.
Minnesota is 4-1 over its past five and their covered snapped a non-cover run for four straight games.
Wisconsin downed Nebraska 23-21, but is 1-3 ATS in its past four games.
In the Big 12, Kansas State led at half 35-17 against TCU but the Horned Frogs, ranked No. 2, outscored K-State 35-10 during the second half to win 52-45. The Horned Frogs have scored 50 points or more in five consecutive games, and the over is 4-2 during in that run.
California and Utah faced off in Utah Saturday and the Utes were able to hold off a tough Golden Bear’s team 30-24. Cal covered despite Jared Goff throwing a surprising five interceptions. The UNDER for Cal has cashed three consecutive times.
Oregon State was throttled by Arizona by 37 points and fell to 1-4 ATS over its past five games played.
In the SEC, the Missouri Tigers run of UNDERs is at 6-0 but they fell to 4-2 SU for the season and a disastrous 1-5 ATS for bettors. The Tigers now much face Georgia this coming weekend. The Bulldogs are 1-4 ATS over their past five games.
